Terms and Conditions for Lee Skinner Personal Training AB

 

1. Exercise and Session Obligations

 

1. It is agreed between you and your trainer that both parties must fully commit to the prescribed training programme in order for you to achieve maximum results.

 

2. To further ensure you achieve your goals you are required to arrive on time for every booked session so that your programme can be completed in full on each visit. Being late and not warming up effectively can lead to injuries and creates disruption to the session and other clients.

 

3. When possible please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before your exercise session starts to warm up and be prepared.

 

4. As a client you are required to wear appropriate fresh clothing and footwear. Please note that clothing should be clean and so should the client be. Nobody likes bad hygiene.

 

5. Avoid bringing any negatively to your sessions. Please leave it at the door on your way in. The gym is a place to be proud, happy and positive.

 

6. Ask questions, don't be shy, we are here to help you learn, progress and become better.

 

7. Please be aware of others around you, be patient, be supportive and have empathy and consideration.

 

8. Never come to the gym hungry or feeling sick or having an illness. Always ensure you prepare during the day before your workouts with drinking water and having eaten enough food.

 

9. A session is 50 minutes long.

 

 

 

2. Medical Obligations

 

1. You are required to complete our online Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (“PAR-Q”) before undertaking your first training session.

 

2. Depending on the listed conditions, injuries or illnesses in your PAR-Q a letter of medical clearance from your GP may be required.

 

3. At all times it is the clients responsibility to inform your trainer of any current or on-going health conditions or changes to your physical state, which might affect your ability to exercise safely with a minimal risk of injury. Your trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.

 

4. Be prepared to provide further health information from your medical practitioner, if required by your trainer.

 

5. You acknowledge that there are inherent risks when participating in a programme of strenuous exercise. Lee Skinner Fitness AB accepts no responsibility and in no way will be held liable for any injury which is incurred whilst exercising with or without our trainers guidance, except where the injury was directly caused by their negligence (carelessness).

 

 

3. Our Session Cancellation Policy

 

1. Cancelled appointments must be made in excess of 12 hours before your planned start time. Failure to do so will mean a session is taken from your allocated credits for that month.

Please note: When purchasing a package an extra 2 sessions Bonus are added to count for some months having 5 weeks.

Your monthly sessions ( provided in the app as credits) do not roll over into following months. You must take your booked sessions that are reserved for you and pre- booked in the schedule for that month. This is to ensure you complete the required amount of sessions needed to reach your goal.

 

 

 

4. Re-arranging a Session

 

1. At least 12 hours’ notice is required to re-arrange a pre-booked session, this can only be done if the trainer has the availability to accommodate you at another time available for Semi Private Sessions.

 

2. If you re-schedule or cancel the appointment with at least 12 hours notice you will Not lose a Session/credit.

 

Please note this is non negotiable for any reason and is set inside our booking software. Our goal is to ensure you take your sessions, consistently, stay committed and achieve the results you have set out to achieve on this program. It is your responsibility to make that happen.

 

3. If the calendar ( LEGIT FIT) and app is unable to re-arrange the session for that week, the appointment would either need to be kept or cancelled by you.

 

 

 

5. Lateness Policy

 

1. If you the client are late for a training session the appointment time cannot be extended and will end at the original stated time.

 

2. If the Trainer is late, additional time will be added onto the session (if possible) or to subsequent future sessions.

 

3. If you the client arrives more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled appointment without giving notice, the trainer may leave the premises and has the right to cancel the appointment and a session will be taken.

 

 

 

6. Fee Charging Policy

 

1. Recurring payments are managed inside our online software called (LegitFit), via Stripe our payment processor and taken on the 28th of each month from Lee Skinner Fitness AB.

 

 

7. No Shows

 

1. If you do not show up for your session for whatever reason. You will forfeit that session. To keep the session you must provide at least 12 hours notice in the calendar to be able to move your time.

 

 

 

8. Long Term Absences – Injury, Illness, Pregnancy & Other

 

1. Long term absence, relocating, etc will be dealt with fairly and on an individual basis.

 

If you are unable to return to the original or amended version of the training programme after an agreed period of time the sessions, any outstanding sessions ( credits) will be void or can be transferred to another suitable person.

These sessions can be held for a maximum of 2 Months since terminating the program. After the 2 Months period is complete the sessions are know longer available.

 

9. Contract Cancellation and Refunds Policy

 

1. If you wish to cancel your chosen programme, this must be done in writing via email at Lee@leeskinnerpt.com. No refunds are given at any time.

 

 

10. All programmes are a 3 month binding agreement. If you wish to cancel your agreement and monthly payments, we require a 30 day cancellation notice to stop your payments. If you fail to provide at least 30 days notice, payment will be taken on the given date. ( No refunds are given at any time )

 

 

 

11. Sickness, holidays, work travels

 

1. If a client is sick, out of the country or away for work travel, any missed sessions that week can be pushed back and rescheduled during that month. You will not lose your session credits. You can simply re - use them in the coming weeks ahead.

 

 

12. Freezing your subscription

 

Freezing your payments for (one calendar month per year) is provided for those who take long holiday breaks at once. If you are away from the city and the gym for June, July or the whole of August, either of these months can be used to freeze your payment for that one month and will restart automatically after that chosen month is up. This is to ensure your place is secured in the program.
